I retired from ‘traditional’ gym based exercise years ago. I became disenchanted with the status quo, I didn’t enjoy the gruelling workouts and the ‘No Pain, No Gain’ mentality.
The notion that you need to torture yourself for a workout to be effective, might work in the short term, but it’s nothing but damaging in the long run.
If you have collapsed arches, hip imbalance, a rigid spine and shoulders that don’t rotate well - that stuff needs to be addressed before you go thrashing out burpees & deadlifts in the gym.
PT sessions with me are orientated around correcting dysfunctional movement patterns. I focus on the importance of joint stacking and improving the sequencing in our gait cycle, which is the foundation of all movement.
Training your body’s natural movements and encouraging it to work together as a well-oiled machine, and as a result, eradicate common joint pains.
